Reciprocal links info

A reciprocal link is where the owners of two websites have agreed to each place a link to the other partyıs website on their own website.

A reciprocal Link is a link to another groups web page that has included our event(s) on their web page for a link to their web page from ours. The NH Blessing of the Bikes web site is now consistently receiving between 50 and 100 visitors a day just from linking to other websites and them linking back to us!

Meaning that sites in this Current Reciprocal Links section swap a link with this site. All sites are provided by their respective owners and the content is their responsibility.

A reciprocal link is a text and/or banner link to a site that, somewhere in its pages, carries a similar text/banner link to your own site with the information you requested to be placed on their site.

A reciprocal link is a commitment. This link basically says "The site at the other end of this link feels that my site is important enough to link to, and I/we feel that their site is important enough that I/we are willing to let visitors leave my site via this link."

A reciprocal link involves an element of trust. Few Webmasters have the time or patience to constantly monitor the sites that link back to them, so you are trusting the other site to maintain the link on their site, and not bury it under other information or delete it during a site upgrade.

Complementary links are exactly that: links designed to maximise the value of your own site by providing more detailed, or better information than you could hope to on your own site.
